How much government control is enough? Is there such a thing as to much government control for Al and the rest of his Democrat, statist cohorts?
Generally the conversation on opposing sides is between government control and free markets. How does a free market make our lives better? A free market means business competition, without government interference. Competition moves companies to innovate in order to attract buyers for their products and services. Free markets means that companies goods and services are produced efficiently and offered at competitive prices. What does that mean for you and me? It results in better technology like smart phones and more powerful tablets. Our health care gets better with more effective treatments for cancer and diabetes. In our daily digital lives it results in more convenient online services such as electronic banking and retailing. It also appears in energy independence with cheaper oil and enengy from previously undiscovered sources.
